I'm running a competition for you to win a free paperback copy of my romantic comedy, A Taste of Honey.
Here is the blurb:
Honey is not far from the sting.
Fran Santini has a secret she keeps from her family. During the day, she works as a waitress, but at night, she is a honey trapper for the Peace of Mind Agency, working for women who suspect their partners are cheating.
Travis O’Connell is minding his own business, enjoying a pint of Guinness at his local pub, when he is accosted by Fran who believes he is her intended target. After all, he has a goatee just as his “wife” described.
Fran, a hopeless honey trapper, fails to realize she has set up the wrong guy. What’s more, when the penny finally drops, she is forced into a compromising situation, begging the question: can Fran’s job stay a secret for much longer?
At the risk of incurring the wrath of Fran’s brother, Antonio, Travis finds himself attracted to sultry Fran Santini. Will the secret draw the couple together or drive them apart?

My favourite romance novel is the one I'll write myself. One day. No, I am not being conceited, I am merely being self-motiovational, because, you see, I have never written anything romantic beyond haiku.... and 17 syallbles do not really qualify me as a writer of romance... oh well.... and romance is not my style, to begin with...
Hi,
Sorry I should have reminded you to leave your contact details [in case you win!]
I've added something to my blog about this now, so please refer to it if yours is a serious entry.
Who knows perhaps you will write that romance novel one day!
And good luck!
Lynette

Hi Lynette, I currently have 2 books that are tied for my favorite romance - both are sci-fi romances though I'm for nearly any type of romance. The Red Storm by Zinnia Hope & Gabriel's Ghost by Linnea Sinclair. I'm always looking out for my next favorite romance be it sci-fi, fantasy, paranormal, contemporary, historical, comedy, etc. I'm not too picky :o)
Enter me, please. freddie7713 @ hotmail.com.

I don' have one favoutite romance novel. However, I do love the Harlequin Superromances as they are fun, exciting, and they don't take long to read - and with serious problems with time management.... :)
I'd like to enter the contest.

My favorite romance novel is Prisoner of Desire by Johanna Lindsey. It's silly and fun; I first read it when I was twelve (!) and I've read it six or seven times in the past fifteen years.
Taste of Honey looks really fascinating!

I love Harlequin Superromances, too, Nicole. Thanks for your entry!

I'll have to check out 'Prisoner of Desire'. You got to love that title! I recognise the author's name from somewhere. It must be a terrific book if you've read it so many times!
The book I've read over and over [which isn't exactly a romance but has romantic elements in it] is 'Girl with Green Eyes' by Edna O'Brien. I first read it at age 17 when I stayed in Sweden at the home of a penfriend. It was the only book in English they had, so I read that! I've been reading it ever since over and over throughout the years!
Thank you for your entry!

Pretty much any romance is my favorite but since you want more than that I'll go with Pride and Prejudice. I think the mother in the story makes this one my favorite.
